Saffron QA sponsors the Testing Peers Podcast

I am delighted to announce that Saffron QA is now sponsoring the Testing Peers podcast.

Having listened and enjoyed the podcast from its inception, an opportunity arose to help the Testing Peers in developing it further. Fortunately, Simon, David, Chris, Russell and I share similar values and vision, which cemented the partnership.

You can find out more about the Testing Peers and listened to the podcasts by visiting; https://testingpeers.com/ . The latest episode titled, ‘Telephone Interviews’ can be found here; https://testingpeers.com/?p=369

I hope you enjoy and gain value from the podcast!

Saffron QA turns one - a brief reflection

Saffron QA turned one this week and so I thought it an opportune time to reflect on the journey to date and what led me here.

Having spent the entirety of my working career to date in the software testing industry (primarily as a recruiter in agencies and consultancy, with a spell in business development), I felt it time to build something for my family’s future. Saffron QA was formed for a multitude of reasons, both professional and personal, though two of the most significant for me were;

  1. The ability to provide a service based wholly on my terms.

  2. To build a long-term sustainable business, which allows for freedom to spend more time with my young family as they grow.

Life for me has always been about balance. The goal has always been to keep healthy and stay happy. Now with a young family, this is vital and a significant factor in the formation of Saffron QA.

I am very proud of the progress that has been made over the past 12 months. Strong commercial partnerships have been formed and we are fortunate to be the trusted exclusive supplier of testing staff to some brilliant organisations. Of course, there have been a couple of downs along the way, though that is to be expected, this is recruitment after all!

As we roll into our second year of operation, the focus remains to building upon the strong foundations that have been laid, continue to operate in the right way and be the trusted staffing partner to our existing and hopefully new clients.

I would like to thank all the customers who have worked with Saffron QA this year and continue to do so, the candidates we have placed into permanent roles and our contractors, who do amazing work and represent my company so professionally.

I look forward to working with more of the wonderful testing and qa community over the next 12 months and in the meantime, I wish everyone well.
